Here’s the thing about the 400V input on a 300mm tube: it’s not overkill. It’s a smart move. Running at 400V lets the heater pull serious power without forcing the current beyond safe limits. That keeps wiring and terminals from getting stressed. For a 2500W unit, the payoff is quick warm-up and steady output—all in a compact footprint. And that 300mm length? It concentrates the heat zone, which is perfect for cramped chambers and focused heating blocks. We keep wattage tolerance tight, because when your process needs repeatability, it has to start at the element.
Materials and Design: Built to Take the Heat
The quartz tube is tough—built to handle intense heat and sudden temperature swings. Inside, the halogen gas does a quiet miracle: it slows filament evaporation, so output stays stable over long runs. The internal halogen cycle lets the filament run hotter without burning out early. Same size, higher temperature capability. Then there’s the R7s connector. Simple, bi-pin, and it locks in fast. It carries the current reliably and drops right into many existing fixtures, so swapping a lamp doesn’t mean rewiring the whole machine.
Where It Shines—and What to Keep in Mind
These heaters are made for industrial work: PET blowing, plastic preform heating, sealing bars, compact drying tunnels—places that demand tough, dependable heat. You get high watt density, fast response, and an easy replacement process. Less downtime. More uptime. But there’s a trade-off: that concentrated heat needs proper cooling and airflow around the fixture. If the machine’s cooling is undersized, ambient temperatures climb and components wear out sooner. So match the lamp to the chamber, and the chamber to the lamp.
